How to save an image present in a Word file?
Even though it appears so simple, those who have tried to save an image present in a Word file knows how difficult it is. You cannot directly save an image directly from the Word file and an attempt to do the same ends up in saving a scrap file. You cannot use the image that is saved as a scrap file.
Do the following steps to save an image from the Word file:
- Open the Word file and copy the image to be saved. To copy the image, right click on the image and select “Copy” or click Ctrl+C.
- Open the program Microsoft PowerPoint. For this, go to Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office PowerPoint.
- Paste the copied image to the Microsoft PowerPoint slide. To paste the image, right click on the slide and select “Paste” or click Ctrl+V.
- Right click on the image and select the option “Save as Picture”. The “Save as Picture” window opens.
- Select the location where the image is to be saved and name the image with the appropriate extension (jpg, gif etc). This saves the picture in the selected location.
